Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Islamabad towards the spectacular Kaghan Valley.
Travel through the beautiful hill town of Abbottabad, founded during the British era, before continuing through Mansehra and Balakot, the historic gateway to the valley.
Following the scenic Kunhar River, arrive in the charming mountain town of Naran, the heart of Kaghan Valley.
After checking into your hotel, board local 4×4 jeeps for an exciting journey to the legendary Lake Saif-ul-Muluk, situated at an altitude of approximately 3,200 metres.
Surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks, including the majestic Malika Parbat (Queen of Mountains), the lake’s crystal-clear turquoise waters create one of Pakistan’s most iconic natural landscapes. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery make this one of the highlights of the entire tour.
Return to Naran in the late afternoon.
Overnight: Naran
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion towards the northern end of the Kaghan Valley.
Travel through Battakundi, passing spectacular waterfalls, glaciers, alpine forests, and mountain streams before reaching the magnificent Lalusar Lake, the largest natural lake in the Hazara region and the primary source of the Kunhar River.
Continue the scenic drive to the famous Babusar Pass, standing at an elevation of approximately 4,173 metres above sea level. This historic mountain pass connects Kaghan Valley with Gilgit-Baltistan and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Weather permitting, enjoy time for photography and sightseeing before returning to Naran.
Overnight: Naran
Following breakfast, travel towards the beautiful hill station of Shogran, one of Kaghan Valley’s most picturesque mountain villages.
Part of the journey is completed by local 4×4 jeeps as you ascend through dense pine forests and scenic mountain trails.
Shogran offers magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Malika Parbat (5,290 metres) and Koh-i-Marka.
In the afternoon, continue to the famous Siri and Paye Meadows, where lush green pastures, colourful wildflowers, grazing horses, and panoramic mountain views create a truly magical setting.
Spend time enjoying nature, photography, and the refreshing mountain air before returning to Shogran.
Overnight: Shogran
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the mountains.
Later, begin the return journey to Islamabad, retracing the scenic route through Balakot, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.
